Isolate fire rated doorsets
Colour coding doors on each floor of a sheltered housing development is a useful way to help residents identify their apartments. Trinity Housing Association has used New World's Isolate 30 minute fire-rated doorset to this effect on its Ormeau Road development in Belfast. Working with fabricator Bowman Windows, 24 Isolate doorsets were chosen to provide compartmentation to the apartment entrances in case of fire. Designed specifically for local authorities multi-resident housing or sheltered accommodation, where elderly or vulnerable people live independently, New World's Isolate fire door enhances the protective environment. With a strong non-combustible core encased in GRP skins, Isolate has Secure by Design endorsement. Isolate's 44mm thick door slab incorporates a fire resistant single glazed 7.2mm cassette and has a 30-minute fire-rating.
