The property originally featured a render finish to the entire upper level. It had become patchy and discoloured and either needed replacing or covering. Likewise the white fascia and black guttering were also in need of updating. The homeowner chose Fortex Pro, a double shiplap style board, in slate grey. Adding a woodgrain foil finish fascia and soffit in anthracite grey and a gutter system in the same shade created an attractive co-ordinated look. Russell Skellett from Tru Plastics said: “Being able to offer homeowners a complete suite of products in coordinating and matching colours is a major USP for our company. Our customers are asking more and more for colour and the Freefoam range gives us the perfect solution.” Colin St John, UK commercial director for Freefoam added: “Our colour range has been developed specifically to enable our customers to win business. It gives them a wide range of options to meet the demands of today’s market place.” www.freefoam.com Boilers aim to add heat to the competition Three new condensing boilers by Rinnai have been launched into the commercial gas-fired marketplace. The boilers, Germanmanufactured to high specification in materials, build and components are built to last and offer high quality construction and engineering alongside top of the range energy efficiencies. The Rinnai Infinity condensing boiler range is available for natural gas and LPG operation and comes with controls maximising energy efficiencies through class-leading weather compensation technology. The Rinnai Infinity condensing boilers come in 50kW, 75kW and 100kW versions and are both maintenance and installer friendly. The appliances are accessed from the front and require minimal space for installation, thus helping to reduce cost and time required on site. Some of the units also feature a fully removable pivoting heat exchanger and burner for easy inspection and cleaning. The boilers also offer a range of ancillary options including pressurisation units, manifold pipework assemblies, mounting frames, heating system separators, boiler and water heater combination packs, ancillary control options, external temperature sensor and advanced boiler controls. www.rinnaiuk.com Time is of the essence Speedier installation is promised by Armstrong Ceiling Solutions for its latest high-engineered suspension system. The TLS metal hook cross tees is manufactured from solid steel and engineered with total precision. The functionality of TLS is characterised by three key elements. It is simple and safe to install due to a secure hook design. It aligns and sets into position with an audible click, guaranteeing ceiling stability and self-squaring, and it features a solid clip manufactured from pre-shaped steel, for stronger and more secure connections that lock into place. Ideal for commercial applications, the ergonomic design of the pre-shaped Prelude 24mm TLS ensures it is faster to install and demount from the universal main runner. It also lies flush to the main runner, providing a streamlined aesthetic to the fully finished ceiling, while for installers, pre-shaped embossments on the clip increase rigidity and also control rotation. Isabel Blanco, marketing and sales coordinator UK, Ireland and Southern Africa, said: “Our customers’ expectations for performance made us innovate which is why we are excited to introduce TLS.” www.armstrongceilings.co.uk UK timber manufacturer Cheshire Mouldings has extended its range by launching a new collection of competitively priced products.
