This campaign was formed to promote and celebrate the manufacture of UK-made goods, with Formica Group claiming to be the only High Pressure Laminate manufacturer to carry the Made in Britain marque. All of Formica Group’s core colours and patterns, including its residential and commercial interiors, exterior cladding and new anti-fingerprint surface Formica Infiniti, now bear the logo. Joe Bell, UK Marketing Manager at Formica Group, said: “A benefit for UK businesses using products manufactured in the UK, as opposed to Italy, Austria and other EU countries, include faster delivery times and better cost efficiencies. As a British manufacturer, Formica Group is able to provide price stability on HPL making it easier for customers to plan ahead. “Additionally, businesses that use British manufactured products are better positioned to ensure their end users are the recipients of high quality laminate with a first rate service throughout the supply chain.” www.formica.com Bringing ideas to aluminium door sector Aimed at giving installers ideas of what can be achieved in the aluminium doors and window industries, a new brochure is available from AluFold Direct. ‘Everything Aluminium’ features the full AluFoldDirect aluminium range including bi-folding doors, sliding doors, slimline windows, roof lanterns, RD1 Entrance Doors and commercial windows and doors.
