Rehau launches new brochure for multi-occupancy building solutions
The brochure brings together the company’s products which are suitable for these types of projects
With the current growth in the multi-occupancy construction, building solutions provider Rehau has put together a new brochure dedicated to the needs of industry professionals working on such projects.
Multi-occupancy buildings present a unique challenge to specifiers and contractors, due to the height and scale of the projects, and the limited installation times required for each element to ensure timelines for project delivery don’t slip. With this in mind, Rehau has brought together all of its products which are suitable for a multi-occupancy projects in one guide, covering everything from plumbing and heating to energy centres.
The brochure is divided into sections to make it easier for contractors and specifiers to find the products most relevant to them. Within the Heating, Plumbing and Drainage section are the details for Rautitan, an alternative to copper for plumbing and heating pipework, which is quick to install. Also, in this sector is the information on Raupiano Plus, a drainage pipework system offering 17dB noise protection to eliminate the issue of noisy pipework in high-rise installations.
This section also covers Rehau’s plumbing stations, which can reportedly save up to 70% on installation times for showers, toilets, baths, as well as further details on heat networks and energy centres.
The next section covers heating and cooling products, many of which have been installed on BREEAM Excellent/Very Good or Passivhaus-certified projects. Rehau’s products in this field are said to be suitable for multi-occupancy dwellings include thermally active building solutions (TABS), chilled ceilings and a variety of underfloor heating and cooling solutions.
The brochure also details Rehau’s modular cable trunking options, and window/glazing options for the market, including the Geneo Alu Top windows and Polytec 50 curtain walling, plus Rehau’s popular Total70 window profiles.
