Norwegian production facility completed

European kitchen and bathroom wall panel manufacturer Fibo has completed construction of its £14 million production facility in Norway. The investment is good timing for Fibo UK, with strong growth happening within builders’ merchants nationally.
Fibo currently supply wall panels to over 70,000 bathrooms a year across more than 10 European countries.
The expansion of the Lyngdal factory, in South Norway, boosts Fibo’s capacity from 2.5 million m² to 8 million m² per year. The Norwegian facilities also has a 50% reduction in energy cost per m² from 2.5 kWh/m² to 1.1 kWh/m².
Fibo’s wall panels are fitted directly to walls, including tiles, or onto stud partitioning. Fibo’s Aqualock system are quick and easy to install –with the company claiming they are up to five times faster than tiles. The tongue-and-groove system means that contractors do not need to sub-contract the job to tilers, saving further time and money.
Panels are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality standard and are available in a range of colours and finishes. Fibo wall panels come with a 15-year guarantee.
