Covering the Covers

The Chichester branch of Covers Timber & Builders Merchants is proud to announce that they will once again support the Ovation Rock Show at the Minerva Theatre.

Covers’ support of the event for a second year allows the organisers Ovation Music to showcase the musical talent of children and young people from across the Chichester district.

The show will bring together talented singer-songwriters, vocal groups, session, and original bands – all aged between nine to 19 years old and from the district.

Henry Green, managing director of Covers, commented: “We are delighted to be involved in supporting young local musicians. We hope that the funding helps and encourages others to support this notable charity that is inspiring and changing lives.”

Nick Davidson, founder and trustee of the charity Ovation Music said: “We are so grateful to Covers for supporting our annual event. Their backing ensures we can provide valuable confidence building experiences to a wider number of talented youngsters as well as develop more music workshops for vulnerable children and young people.”

Tickets for the show on 19th and 20th January 2018 are on sale now and available from www.cft.org.uk. Prices start from £5 with proceeds going towards extending Ovation’s facilities, opportunities, and community work.
