Housing developer Lovell Partnerships has scooped the prestigious Order of Distinction honour at the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents awards (RoSPA), recognising Lovell’s commitment to health and safety in 2020.

Established to acknowledge excellence in health and safety, the RoSPA awards are held annually and have been open to businesses since 1956. With almost 2,000 applicants annually and a reach of more than 7 million employees the awards set the industry standard for business performance in workplace health.

Stuart Penn, Regional Managing Director for Lovell Partnerships Midlands, said “We are delighted that our dedication to health and safety has been recognised with this award. At Lovell Partnerships, avoiding workplace accidents is always at the forefront of project planning to protect our team. The RoSPA award represents years of continued focus on employee, client, and partner health for our Midlands region.”

RoSPA is a British charity that aims to reduce occupational accidents through prevention, training and collaboration with businesses and its annual awards highlight those across industries who are leading the way in health and safety.

“To have won the Order of Distinction for 2020 is particularly significant following the challenges Covid-19 presented”, continued Stuart.

“I’m so proud of how the Lovell Partnerships team went above and beyond to ensure the correct safety precautions were in place, keeping everyone well during the pandemic. We will continue to strive towards maintaining our high standards for workplace health and wellbeing.”

The RoSPA award ceremony will take place virtually on Thursday 9th September with an online auction in aid of the Keeping Kids Safe campaign.
