Constructing Excellence South West reveals entry deadline extension for 2022 Award
The Constructing Excellence South West team has announced a two week extension for its 2022 awards, designed to recognise the very best of the construction and built environment across the region.
Award entries will now close midday on Friday 25 March providing organisations delivering building and civil engineering projects in the South West more time to complete their application and to be in with a chance of being celebrated in the sector.
The awards are a clear demonstration of the core strength of construction in the South West and highlight the industry professionals’ commitment to delivering buildings, housing, infrastructure and facilities of all kinds in a collaborative and sustainable manner.
Andrew Carpenter, CEO of Constructing Excellence South West, said: “Due to public demand we have extended the awards deadline by two weeks to midday on Friday 25 March. The extension will be welcome news to those who are keen to enter the awards but may need slightly longer to complete their application.
“We accept entries from developers, clients, contractors, engineers, consultants, and members of the design team. If the project contributes to the South West built environment, we want to celebrate it as an example of best practice.
“This year is key for the construction sector as it navigates many challenges, and our awards are a great way to showcase how our region is already paving the way for the future.”
Shortlisted entries will be announced on Tuesday 19 April and will be required to make an online presentation to the judging panels the week beginning 3 May 2022.
Winners of the 2022 awards will be revealed on Thursday 8 September at the Marriott City Centre Hotel, Bristol.
