IDS introduces new large tile format to Proplas panelling decors

Reflecting the popularity of large format tiles and rich grey tones in the bathroom, Proplas Tile by IDS has introduced two new wall panel decors to its range with stone graphite large tile and stone grey large tile.

Offering a tile design in 400 x 250mm format, the matte panels are said to offer a realistic tile and grout effect but with easier and faster installation and simpler cleaning.

The tongue and groove 2800 x 250 x 8mm panels are non-porous and mould-resistant, with insulation and sound-proofing benefits. The hardwearing decorative PVC surface has the advantage of being warmer than tiles and is durable and hygienic.

The large tile decors join Proplas’ existing smaller tile designs in stone beige, stone grey and stone graphite, all in matte finishes. Proplas also has a satin texture range with four designs in neutral shades.

Proplas panels come in packs of five, giving a coverage of 2.8m², with a five-year domestic use warranty against manufacturing defects when installed as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

Proplas panels can be stapled, panel pinned, glued or screwed directly onto a flat surface or onto timber battens to provide a seamless finish with tight, almost invisible joints when used in conjunction with sealants and adhesives. They can also be fixed over existing tiling or Artex, making renovation and refurbishment work fast and straightforward. The range is fire rating tested to BS EN 13501-1:2007 standards, achieving a classification of C, S3, D0.

The Proplas tile range is available now ex-stock from IDS branches nationwide.
