Rehau shortlisted for the HVR awards 2018
There has been much celebration at Rehau as its new universal 10 bar pipework solution, Rautitan, has been shortlisted in the 2018 HVR Awards Ancillary Product of the Year category.
The HVR Awards are said to reward companies that have proved to be outstanding in their field, that have excellent technology or have shown exceptional customer service and innovation.
Rehau entered its Rautitan product into the Ancillary Product of the Year category, which recognises excellence in ancillary products and explores their uses, applications and technological features, as well as simplicity and cost.
Rautitan launched in September 2017 and is a universal 10 bar polymer pipework solution. It can be used for both drinking water and heating systems and is available in Flex and Stabil (MLC pipe). The inside of the pipe is said to be very smooth, along with the independently-certified cavity-free joint, means there is no space for water to stagnate in, which reduces the risk of bacteria breeding in the pipe.
Drew Clough, product manager at Rehau, said: “We’re delighted this product is receiving the recognition it deserves. Since its launch it has been well adopted on a number of projects and is proving to be easy to install – and most importantly we’re already hearing positive testimonials from contractors and installers on site.”
The winners will be announced at the HVR Awards on Thursday, October 25, at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.
