British rooflight manufacturer, Roof Maker, has been shortlisted as part of the first Conservatory & Orangery Awards for its Slimline roof lantern in the ‘Best rooflight and lantern system’ category.
Featuring ultra slim aluminium glazing bars and available as flat pack or pre-built, the Slimline’s design is said to combine a sturdy, insulated construction with a clean, contemporary aesthetic to support professionals in specifying and installing the highest standard in performance and style.
Offering a Ug-value of 0.8 w/m2K by using triple glazing as standard, the Roof Maker Slimline roof lantern is said to significantly reduce potential heat transfer, aiding clients in reducing potential energy loss and subsequent energy tariffs.
In addition to having ultra slim aluminium glazing bars to maximise the amount of natural light entering the property, the roof lantern also has deep unit seals, which significantly reduce the risk of condensation and increase product life expectancy. Roof Maker says it is unique in the industry as it is the only manufacturer to provide a 20-year unit seal warranty, with a life expectancy of up to 30 years.
Vanessa Howard, chief marketing officer at Roof Maker, said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the first ever Conservatory and Orangery Awards. Our Slimline roof lantern is designed and manufactured to offer the highest standards in performance and aesthetics, so it’s fantastic to receive this recognition within the glazing industry.”
Available in any RAL frame colour and a range of glass tints and glass types, including security, solar performance or acoustic options, the Slimline roof lantern is designed to provide professionals and their clients with a premium rooflight that stands out from its competitors.
Roof Maker is attending the award ceremony on October 30 at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, where the winners will be announced.
