While Eclisse pocket door products are ‘competitively priced’, the company says ‘they not the cheapest in the market and this is a reflection of the quality of the product’. The Eclisse engineered pocket door frames are made from galvanised steel sections that have been specially designed to be strong as well as easy to assemble and install to provide years of ‘’hassle-free operation.
Eclisse independently tests its products for strength and durability, offering a 15-year guarantee. The door runners are tested to 100,000 open and close cycles, which is roughly 25-years of average use and the frames have been impact tested with great results, the company says.
Although pocket doors can be more expensive to install than traditional hinged doors, they deliver a ‘clear monetary benefit’ by increasing usable space, according to Eclisse. With pocket doors, up to 8m2 of usable space can be saved in a 100m2 layout because the door retracts into a pocket in the wall.
Eclisse’s product range is vast and versatile including single, double, telescopic, curved, glass and FD30 pocket door systems providing a solution to suit any project. The Eclisse Classic system comes complete with a professional timber lining kit to finish off the pocket door installation effortlessly, whereas the Syntesis Flush system has an innovative edge profile allowing for plastering right to the edge and into the return, creating an architrave-free flush finish.
