SIG partners with PolyVision
SIG has been appointed as the exclusive distribution partner for PolyVision’s a3 CeramicSteel in the UK and Ireland. Effective from December 2016, SIG secured the agreement in recognition of the company’s knowledge and core values within the construction industry worldwide.
Mark Fyfe, UK infrastructure director at SIG, commented: “We’re extremely excited to be adding the PolyVision a3 range to our portfolio. We strive to bring the most innovative solutions to market which support consistency in a changing world and the a3 surface fits perfectly within this strategy.”
AIM, one of the UK’s most experienced specialist converters and part of the Performance Technology division of SIG, will be responsible for taking the a3 range to market, with a strong focus on product innovation and internal capabilities to expand the range.
Tim Dalton, general manager of AIM, explained: “We already have state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities which we will be using to springboard the existing range into the UKI markets. However, we’re looking to build a long-term partnership and are already exploring ways to develop the a3 range further.”
Commenting on why SIG succeeded in securing the sole UK and Ireland distribution rights for the a3 range, Marc Schroyen, sales manager at PolyVision, said: “We’ve invested significant time, resource and technical expertise into developing a genuinely innovative solution that has already been widely specified in the infrastructure sector. By partnering with SIG, a truly forward thinking and focused global company, we’re confident that the product will be in a position to achieve its full potential in wider sectors such as external and internal fit out.”
