The Eclisse Syntesis Flush collection of architrave-free pocket doors, concealed-frame hinged doors and skirting board adaptors, offers the freedom to create a design without the distraction of architraves and skirting boards.
Syntesis Flush pocket door system
The beauty of the Syntesis Flush pocket door system from Eclisse lies in its strength, practicality and space-saving capability, offering up to 8m2 of usable space in a 100m2 layout.
The Syntesis Flush pocket door system offers more freedom in terms of layout and décor, because you don’t have to take into account the arc of a traditional hinged door. Decorating the pocket door panel with the same design as the walls means it blends into the background if desired, while the use a contrasting door leaf can create a striking feature without architraves detracting from the overall effect. The Syntesis Flush pocket door system comes in 13 standard sizes to fit 13 standard door panel sizes and three finished wall thickness of 100mm, 125mm and 150mm.
Syntesis Flush hinged
The Syntesis Flush hinged system has a concealed frame, requiring no architrave, allowing the door to blend into the wall with just the door handle indicating its presence. This can be supplied as a door set with a paint-ready hollowcore timber door, or as frame only system allowing you to choose your own 44mm thick door to pair with the frame. Choose a contrasting door to the surrounding wall colour for a design statement. This system is available in a push or pull configuration and standard sizes come with three concealed hinges that are adjustable in three axes. The frame is supplied with a magnetic latch and strike plate which means that the bolt of the latch is always flush until the last minute on closing, when it is attracted by the strike plate.
To avoid strains that can cause cracks in the plaster it is important that architrave-free concealed frame products are strong and rigid. Unlike many other systems, the Syntesis Flush range of products are assembled into a complete unit for installation and are designed to be strong with reinforced corners for rigidity. According to Eclisse, some other systems have a preformed metal trim that wraps over the plasterboard to create the architrave-free edge, whereas the Syntesis Flush frame has an innovative edge profile, allowing plasteromg up to the edge of the frame for a beautiful finish.
Ceiling height doors
Ceiling height doors open up an interior and give the perception of a taller, more expansive space which is why the Eclisse Syntesis Flush single pocket door systems and Eclisse Syntesis Flush door systems can both be supplied up to height 2.7m on request.
Combining these products with the Eclisse skirting board adaptor allows the skirting to be recessed into the wall, for what Eclisse describes as ‘a contemporary interior with simple clean lines’.
