TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman appoints new managing director

TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman, Europe’s vertical transportation and façade access consultancy, has appointed Paul Hastings as managing director.
Hasting’s appointment is a new role which will support the continuing growth of TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He takes over day-to-day management of the business from Allan McGill, divisional director of TÜV SÜD’s real estate division, allowing McGill to refocus on his broader responsibilities for both the vertical transportation and MEP parts of the UK real estate business.
Hastings has over 30 years of experience in the vertical transportation sector. He joined TÜV SÜD Dunbar Boardman in 2011 and was most recently regional director, where he was responsible for the central England offices in Birmingham, Warrington, Sheffield and Leeds.
Allan McGill, divisional director of TÜV SÜD’s real estate division, said: “Over the last three decades, Paul has built-up a very extensive knowledge of the vertical transportation and façade access sectors. His experience will further strengthen our capabilities, helping us to remain at the forefront of the European market and further expand our growth in Asia and the Middle East as part of the TÜV SÜD international network.”
