Window Ware and Express Trade Frames celebrate successful 25-year supply partnership
Leading UK fenestration hardware provider, Window Ware, is celebrating with longstanding customer, Express Trade Frames, as their successful supply partnership reaches an incredible quarter-century milestone.
The Bedfordshire-based hardware specialist has been a supplier of choice for Express Trade Frames (ETF) since they opened their doors in Fleetwood in 1999. In fact, Window Ware was the recipient of the first cheque that ETF ever wrote! And now, the two fenestration firms have just signed a new 2-year trading agreement to further set the seal on their enduring supply partnership.
Throughout ETF’s long history, Window Ware has always been a trusted source for a wide range of high-security Yale and Trojan hardware which helps to ensure their wide offering of uPVC glazing products meets PAS 24 requirements. That expert hardware provision and advice came to the fore last year when the company put their products through testing for the latest PAS 24: 2022 accreditation, a test which included Window Ware’s Delta door hinge.
Like many fabricators diversifying and responding to changing market demand, Express Trade Frames has evolved over the last 3-4 years beyond their PVC roots to become a multisystem manufacturer, expanding their product range to include composite doors, Exlabesa bi-fold doors and Sheerline windows. Window Ware was on hand to support them with the right pre-production advice, the right hardware and plenty of practical experience to help get their aluminium venture off the ground.
ETF Managing Director, Scott Law, explains: “The help and support Window Ware gives us is second to none and we can always count on them to deliver cracking service, competitive prices, and have the leading brands we like in stock and ready to ship!”
Scott admits: “2023 was a particularly busy and challenging year for us. As part of our business expansion plans, we moved into a new, larger factory, bringing our PVCu and aluminium fabrication together under one roof. Knowing Window Ware had our back with quality components, trusted technical support and dependable deliveries gave us one less thing to worry about during the relocation!”
Richard Bryant, Window Ware’s Commercial Director adds: “We are incredibly proud to be celebrating this important milestone with one of our longest-standing customers, Express Trade Frames, and delighted to be able to play a part in their continuing success story.”
“After 25 years of working together, I think it’s fair to say we’ve developed a fantastic working relationship with Scott and the team, and it’s strong partnerships like this which are proving so vital for long-term success in today’s competitive market. We go the extra mile to give our customers the very best advice, the right kind of support and a rock-solid supply to help them achieve their goals, because their success is our primary objective. We’re honoured Express Trade Frames continue to give us the opportunity to serve them.”
