The Hunter Douglas Architectural range of interior wood ceilings includes linear wood, grill, tile and panel variations, which are available in solid wood, veneered wood and metal woodprint finishes.
In creating a portfolio of wood ceiling and interior wall cladding finishes, Hunter Douglas says it has also ensured that key requirements such as acoustics, integrated lighting and fire protection have not been ignored. Wood, by its very nature, is an excellent sound absorbent material and with clever use of differing heights, panel spacing and walling enhanced sound quality and absorption can be achieved.
According to Hunter Douglas, its wood ceilings have the correct fire resistant finish to achieve a reaction to fire classification EN3501 of B-S1,d0. Climate control and Integrated lighting can also be accommodated with any Hunter Douglas Interior wood system to further enhance the ceiling system.
